Foteini Rapsomaniki (Eriketi Veleli)

[…] My mother-in-law put some sort of herb on the number on my wrist when I came out here. She didn’t like it. “I don’t like it that the people in this neighbourhood have been staring at it, let’s remove it”.

She did it with a herb, she crushed it, mixed it with oil, spread it on my arm, and gradually it seemed to work a little. It’s much fainter now.
